20x25.75" illustration board. Art was published in MAD Magazine #222 in April 1981. Art is by longtime MAD cartoonist Al Jaffee (1921-2023) and shows Humpty Dumpty after his great fall. Text block stat at upper left reads "Snappy Answers To Stupid Questions Mother Goose Fold-In" Opposite corner shows painted image illustrating how fold "Fold-In". Folded image revealing a plate of scrambled eggs and a fork. Jaffee has signed at lower right. Top center has additional pasted text stats. Strip of tape staining to top and bottom margins w/some scattered aging around pasted stats. Also included are three production overlays -- one with an amberlith mat, and two with "snappy answer" balloons. Lt. aging/wear. Detached overlays have some bends. VF overall, but image area remains clean and Exc. Formerly from the Mad Magazine Archives. Nice example of one of MAD's most iconic features by one of the MADdest of the MAD staff.
