DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!11.5x16.5" comic art board trio features original art pencil and inks by Jack Sparling (1916-1997) for Thrilling Adventure Stories #1, published by Seaboard, February 1975. Sparling had worked for Marvel, DC, Gold Key and Dell. Storyline "Kromag The Killer" by Gabriel Levy and Jack Sparling. Prehistoric fighting on all three pages featuring Kromag fighting a giant constrictor, Mastodon and Saber-tooth Tiger. Ka-Zar styled action hero. All three pages have detached vellum overlays w/text paste-ups. Paste-ups have tan aging and loose edges. Also a couple rubylith attachments to indicate blood splatter. Moderate aging/wear. Some minor tan staining on one page and overall VF. Social/Sharing |
