GUNFIRE! He doesn't need a weapon...He is the weapon

Bloodlines was the crossover event of 1993 and ran through 23 of DC's superhero annuals and concluded with a two-issue Bloodbath miniseries. The crossover was used to introduce new super-powered characters to the DC Universe. The bad guys were a race of monstrous dragon-like alien parasites who killed humans for their spinal fluid. A small fraction of the parasite's victims survived and superhuman powers were awakened in them.

Gunfire was one of the "New Bloods" introduced during Bloodlines. He first appeared in Deathstroke Annual #2 (October 1993) created by Len Wein and Steve Erwin.

Cover to Gunfire #0. I thought this cover was by Steve Erwin but everywhere I looked the cover is credited to Ed Benes and Brian Garvey. It's signed by Steve Erwin. It looks more like Erwin than Benes and if I remember correctly I bought it from Erwin (I could be wrong though). I think it's a Steve Erwin cover and crediting it as such.
