Description

In 2005, Marvel created a new Scorpion character in the pages of Amazing Fantasy. This new Scorpion was a teenager with a toxic touch, and her first adventure sent her spanning the globe in search of the birth mother (apparently, an A.I.M. scientist) she'd never met.

In these two pages, she is briefly detained by S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in Prague. In the printed comic book, these two pages were separated by advertising; the sequence's elegant panel design is much easier to appreciate with the pages side by side here. Also, I note with interest that the main agent is middle-aged and balding; hardly the James Bond type, let alone Nick Fury or even Dum Dum Dugan.
