Description

Purchased in partnership with my friend and fellow collector Doug Ellis, this Wally Wood illustration we have nicknamed "Big 'Uns" for obvious reasons! Wally outdid himself on this one! Lol! But seriously folks, this Wally Wood illustration appeared in Galaxy Science Fiction - October 1963 and illustrated a scene from the short story "On The Gem Planet" by Cordwainer Smith. Signed by Wood lower right.

Imagine if Wally Wood took Kirby's Sky Masters in this direction! These space cannons would have been enough to bring a golden age of make love, not war.
