Stars and STRIPES 4 p 20 - Moder and Davis

I'm almost sure I stumbled across Stars and STRIPE in a dollar bin after the series had been prematurely cancelled. I was completely charmed by it - as one would expect from a late 90s Geoff Johns book. Not only was Courtney a compelling character but Lee and Dan's art was just spot on. The exact right mix of cartoony and traditional superhero.

Love that this page features Courtney still learning about the powers of her belt. That look in the second paragraph is priceless.
