Astonishing X-Men #1 Page 15 - Age of Apocalypse - Color Guide

Astonishing X-Men is probably my favourite works by Joe Mad. Such a cool cast of characters and redesigns. Sabretooth with the leashed Wild Child; Sunfire and his badass containment suit; the screwball Morph; and the all the rest.

I also loved the title for this issue, "Once More with Feeling." I can’t say I recall any other particular titles to comics from my early years. A dark humour poke on a musical line. Like Magneto telling the X-Men to put a bit more emotion into it, as they run off to their certain doom, trying to stop Holocaust culling the population of Chicago.
