Description
Maybe this was for Planet Comics or some other Sci-fi book. Anyone have any thoughts?

Looks like the story would be called Worm World.

Looks like it says "Worm World" as a lightly sketched title in the top area--and I suppose that might fit with the worm-like tails on the guys on the right, and the sort of worm-like tunnel sketched around them. Can't find anything on a Golden Age comic by that title though.

Great eye - I saw some letters but couldn't make out the words!  Thank you!

There was an interrior page from the story that was partially inked and sold years ago to pay off the tow when I bought them - not sure I have a photo of it somewhere or not . I often thought that these may have been tryout pages for Planet thoug hthe discovery that Weltman and Cason  worked for Harvey suggests that maybe they were for Harvey but cancelled- I have been looking a lot at All New COmics as I figure out what to put on CAFlive and have been struck by the diversity of types of stories in that title. On the other hand if harvey did a downsizing i nthe mid 1940s this and the rocket splah may have been tryouts for Ficiton House and Quality
