I’ve been following Mike for awhile now but the pieces I like are usually out of my price range. I think I’ve been watching/following this piece on eBay for nearly a year with no price change. A couple weeks ago I finally got the courage to ask the seller if they would take less. To my surprise he was willing to make a deal.

The woman’s face, hair, horns, breasts…..it’s just so good. Her leaning back is so seductive and powerful. The detail in the hands and skull are just SO good. Not to mention I love the moon in the background with bats flying around. I really think this could have been a cover and I can just image a great story that it would open to.

That being said, I learned a little something when I got it in the mail. Even if you really like a piece you should ask the seller to show you the original image. As I’m accustomed to seeing on eBay, the breasts and pelvic areas were covered. Anyone looking at my page knows I don’t have an issue with breasts and seductive poses…I assumed the pelvic region was just in shadows and to my surprise it was “a little more”. I saw the pelvic area and was like, wow, I did NOT see that. Suddenly the tomb stones looked like something else all over the piece! I immediately felt like I was 12 years old and put it under a stack of my other pieces so no one would see it.

Then came the flood of emotions. Do I post this on CAF? I mean I really like it, but what will others think? Will I get in trouble for posting something like this? It’s my only OA Krome piece?

Obviously I decided to post it but with a poor job of digitizing the area on my phone picture so it’s not too naughty. I collect art, but my “cover up” reminded me I have no skill to match my passion lol.
