Description
I like big art, but this is on another level! Movie poster sized drawing done by Master Sakai for the 1988 SDCC.

Oops!  Sorry I drove the price up for you.  Was actually thinking of going a little higher but changed my mind at the last minute.  So you owe me a lunch.  LOL!  Just kidding.  Congrats on your big win!

What's nice is that often, art drawn at this size will be simpler? This one is not :)

Great piece!  It shows Sakai spent a lot of time on this big piece knowing he wouldn't need to worry about taking it back home.

EEP!  That's HUGE!  Very cool acquisition -- and nice "Kilroy was here or Tim's neighbor on Home Improvement" style pic.  :-)

That’s either very large art or a very small male model holding that page. ;-) Congrats!

Awesome! What's interesting is I recently picked up an Eastman TMNT piece, also from 1988 SDCC, that is uncharacteristically massive as well. Was there something going on at '88 SDCC or just a coincidence? Either way, congrats on the score!

Just saw your TMNT piece and it's great!  That is an interesting coincidence.

BTW, incredible Turtles collection.  Started following your gallery.

Amazing Usagi piece!! And is this the beginning of a new CAF trend to show the scale of your art? A whole lot of Stan with a little James on the side, noice!

The truth is, the art is actually 11x17. Most people wouldn't have known this otherwise, but James is a midget. this is the proof the world was waiting for. Dont buy into the 30x40 conspiracy!

Damn, look at the work in the skirt! You get the joy of studying it up close, too, at this enormous size!

Yeah, that's a big'n.  Sweet imposting straight shot of Yojimbo.  and I see that hat :)  Also a massive OK win over 'Bama this past weekend!  Congrats on both!

This is -INSANE-!!!  Holy moley, James - where did you dig up this one?  An absolutely one-of-a-kind treasure with a fantastic rendition of Usagi (the hatching is -beautiful-!).  This should have been a cover (or, at the very least, used as a t-shirt design... you know, for the XXXXXXL size... :) ).  Unbelievably cool and wonderful!  Enormous (and a little bigger) congrats!
