DescriptionBatman Gotham Adventures is easily in my top five of Batman comics owing in no small part to the Tim Levins skill as a story teller. The pacing on this page, the final confrontation between Batman and Miss Staines, the writer whose narration of the story appears in the dialogue boxes, is note perfect, especially the third panel. The reader can feel Miss Staines flying into the air as she slips on the magazine featuring her cover story. I also love how Miss Staines' body language perfectly matches her line, "You are so dead!" in the first panel. Social/Sharing |

BTAS works in the slapstick of WB animation like the Looney Tunes!
