Going into the Fall 2024 Comic Art Live, I knew I wanted to find a piece by Michael Zulli, who was taken from us this year. I could not have been more pleased than to find this piece, which the seller shared had been done at the 1989 Mid-Ohio Con. It is truly a special find.

Terrific time and place when Sandman was just starting out in 1989.  Zulli's published take on the character came first in issue 13!
