Description

Climactic scene for the Korvac Saga, as Carina, having forced Thor to strike a fatal blow so she can join her beloved in death.
Moondragon then reveals to Thor (and more importantly, the readers) how Michael truly intended to make Earth into a better world, felt remorse for any harm he caused to the heroes, and used his last strength to restore all of the fallen heroes before he died. Many of them need a doctor, and Thor just happens to share a body with one, so on the next page it's Dr. Blake to the rescue while Moondragon will remove his memories of this truth so as not to have it haunt Thor that the Avengers were to blame for this cosmic tragedy.

The Korvac Saga was perhaps the most cinematic of the Avengers storylines during the 1970s, and this page (of much exposition) was the capper.
