Description
Back on track and coming back around.

Found this Black Condor splash while searching for a different piece.

Another great splash from Morales. Love the extreme perspectives he used for the title splashes e.g., Black Condor #12 pg. 1 and Black Condor #9 pg. 1. It was as if he was challenging himself to come up with different ways to draw a flying character. It makes the title splashes stand out.

I liked the Black Condor, he was a new character and I enjoyed the series. I didn't know much about the previous Black Condor, so I went in with a clean slate. The series only lasted 12 issues and when it ended I felt robbed. I wanted more. Never happened, he appeared in Justice League for a bit but that was about it.

The last, last Black Condor piece.

Black Condor #11 pg 1 "The Legend of the Black Condor" by artist Rags Morales and Richard Space. On a 11X17 board. 1992

The direction of the Whoosh onomatopoeia is correct!  Those background effects are awesome!  There would be one more issue after this, so Rags and Space were pouring it on to get things wrapped up.
