A sterling example from one of the all time great art runs in modern comics. The gorgeous headshots in the two middle panels are bookended by equally exquisite top and bottom action panels. Wow!

Banshee was never the same after he gave it all for the team. The small team headshots are amazing as well in this vintage Byrne and Austin era. Great page!
So memorable & so amazing, Byrne/Austin just killin' it, that top panel, visceral strain of Magnum versus Banshee, and the roster shots make this the must have page, I really missed Banshee in action after this, congrats!
Wow! What an awesome X-Men page from Byrne and Austin! This really is a perfect X-Men page. From the opening panel with Banshee using his sonic scream to seal off the bottom of the island to the final panel where the whole island seems to explode, with the concussive impact slamming into Banshee. I especially love the middle 6 panels where we get 6 seperate head shots of each of the X-Men reacting to Banshee's sonic scream. It's truly an excellent Byrne/Austin page! Stunning pick-up, congrats!
