DescriptionI rarely buy art from a book I haven't read. But when it's watercolors by John K Snyder III featuring Alan Scott and Solomon Grundy, you really can't pass it up. And, getting sequential pages is always a treat for me.So much to love on this page. First, John's use of color. Most Grundy pages are set in a sewer, swamp, or at least a cloudy day. Love seeing him set against the blue sky in that first panel. And the complete lack of fear on Alan's face is a testament to the character. Was lucky to get this and its companion page from the always great Jim Warden in fall 2024. As of Dec 2024, Jim has other fantastic pages from this story on his site at http://www.whatashock.com/doasales/js2.html at very fair prices. Social/Sharing |

Alwasy love seeing Grundy get some play! Great first panel and I like that the first 2 are colored and last 3 are B&W. Congrats!
