11x17 ink on bristol board

Well this was a big one! Given the high cost, I had to budget a couple years ahead for this one. I asked for something similar to a drawing of the group he did in an issue of Excalibur (see the attached image). I didn't get something similar, I got dang near the exact thing!

I'm likely going to wind down this series as prices continue to skyrocket. If this be the last of them, what a way to go out!

Fabulous! It hits all the right notes and Davis made it look like it was done that very year with the retro linework.
