Description

11-2024...A cool acrylic on board painting that was used as the cover for the 1978 paperback edition of Edwin Corley's sci-fi novel Sargasso. The astronaut seemingly trapped at the bottom of the ocean is quite a striking visual.

The description of the book...
"In Washington, the President has ordered a news blackout. Television screens around the world have suddenly gone dark. Three American astronauts who have just completed a successful joint mission with the Russians have incredibly, inexplicably disappeared from inside their sealed space capsule. The Devil's Triangle has apparently claimed three more victims...Or has it?"
