From: Marvel Super Special # 27 Star Wars Return of the Jedi
Story page 27 - 1983
Fan of Al Williamson, George Lucas himself asked Al Williamson to draw the Empire Strikes back and the Return of the Jedi.
The first two issues were Al and Carlos. Al also did a lot of the inking. As he was running out of time he called other artists to help finish the book. Which was more the 3rd and 4th issue!It is documented that Frenz and Palmer didn't touch the 1st and 2nd issue which is what this page is.

This adaptation lives on forever and is set in stone. It will never need to get augmented with a Special Edition nor upgrades of effects as Williamson's adaptation is pure perfection.
