Illustration for the chapter "Second Story: A Little Boy and a Little Girl" from "The Snow Queen" published in Stories from Hans Andersen with illustrations by Edmund Dulac (London: Hodder and Stoughton, 1911), page 11. The full published caption reads "Many a Winter's night she flies through the streets and peeps in at the windows and then the ice freezes on the panes into wonderful patterns like flowers."Social/Sharing |
