Description
I remember the B&W Independent craze of the 1980s quite well so when I saw a pair of Boris the Bear 11 pages pop up at CAL, I swooped in and bought them. I just haven't run across these so I imagine someone has a stack in a closet somewhere - this story was inked by Adkins so very professional finishes and maybe why these are in the wild.

Most of us enjoy sequential pages and this page 7 has a lot of Boris and a cat also - see the additional image for page 8. And these pages focus on the theme of competing on newsstands overcrowded with superhero comics!

Story Synopsis from GCD:
The spirit of one of the original T.h.u.n.d.e.r. Agents asks Boris to take care of replicas that are being created out of greed.

A fun meta page with how crowded the marketplace was becoming with so many indie and big two titles came out during the 80's.  Marvel and DC began to flood the market as a strategy to combat the rise of the indies taking market share.  Boris is trying to lay low and avoid the crossfire.  The art is as complete as it'll ever be with the book being published as a b&w indie.

Interesting! Looks like a fun read.  I saw Boris the Bear in the shop but never picked it up.
