Among these was a series of covers dedicated to "Batman Through the Decades." Steve Rude created the "1930s Variant Cover," and a preliminary piece for that creative cover is offered here, showcasing the figural work behind the crouching stance Batman adopts in the final version. Rendered in ink and graphite on tracing paper with an image area of 6.5" x 10.25". Minor smudging/handling wear. Signed and dated; in Excellent condition.
