Description

Cover of the first Nocturnals collection, Black Planet: one of my favorite books, comic or otherwise... definitely my favorite piece of comic art! The text on the published version completely obscures the fact that there is a BLACK PLANET eclipsing the moon... I missed that for years, until I saw the original painting.
