Inspied choice as most would have requested Wolverine. Trimpe's run on Godzilla probably made him THE Godzilla comic artist to a whole generation.

Thanks! Trimpe's Godzilla was and is iconic. I actually filmed him drawing this one--wish I could post it here!

I love Trimpe's Godzilla . I was hoping to meet him at a con in Las Vegas but he didn't end up going and unfortunately passed away a year or so later

I've always loved his Godzilla too. I'm really happy I got to meet him--I think the year was 2009.
