Description

Here's another great pickup from OAX 2025! Sal Buscema and Vince Colletta did some great work together, and they were incredible in issue 176. In this page, Cap looks back to his origin, watching the news about the Nazis in WW2 and wanting to enlist, but he was rejected for being too frail Always fun to see Cap's origin retold!

That's awesome! Cap having a moment of doubt until he thinks of his origin as a lanky pipsqueek. Steve Rogers inspired to serve in the face of facism and the Musk salute.

Classic issue with an iconic cover. I remember buying it when it came out off the spinner rack of my local newsagent. You can spot Vince Colletta's inks a mile away. Great historic score and always cool to see the origin recapped.

Always great to see these bronze age Cap pages and one with the origin re-told makes it extra special. Great Sal Cap page, another nice OAX addition Alberto!

Also, someone in Elon Musk's camp might want to show him panel 4 for reference purposes...yea i went there, sorry! haha
