Description

It wasn�t intentional to have both the Alpha and Omega pages to this book but I can�t say I mind it much as this was one of the most memorable stories in BWS Valiant history. The reason this happened was because my buddy Rob Rusch and I decided to embark on a group buy and this page would help us both get better deals� so Why Not?! I�ve always had my eye on this one. This kicked off the ultimate collaboration not just between publishers Valiant and Image, but also the two greatest artists alive Barry Windsor-Smith and Jim Lee! Sean Chen shared a story with me when him and the other young Valiant talent was invited to BWS�s house when he unpacked these pages. He told me how BWS was disappointed that Jim didn�t do the �Jim Lee� thing but the truth was Jim respected BWS too much to take away from his style. In my opinion, it was the perfect balance of renaissance pencils and clean 90�s inks. Very happy to have this historic piece as part of the gallery.
