Silver Surfer: Parable #2 – Title Page Splash Recreation

Original ink recreation by the late John Floyd, using printed pencils by legendary artist Moebius (Jean Giraud). This stunning piece is a tribute to Silver Surfer: Parable, the iconic Marvel story written by Stan Lee and illustrated by Moebius.

About the Artwork:

Originally appeared in Silver Surfer: Parable #2 (1988) – Page 1 Splash Title Page.

Recreated and inked by John Floyd as part of his Altered Original Re-creation Art series.

One of the final projects Floyd worked on before his passing.

John Floyd was a highly respected inker known for his work on various Marvel and DC titles. He had a deep admiration for Moebius, making this piece a special homage to one of Heavy Metal’s greatest artists. This recreation beautifully captures the grandeur of Galactus and the cosmic power of the Silver Surfer.

Very nicely done to follow the Moebius linework that has such a distinctive illustration. Floyd enhances the Kirby design of Galactus with the graceful elegance of Moebius' flow for Silver Surfer!
