Description

The close up of the creatures face has stuck with me since it saw print. Although many would consider it heresy I think this is the best version of him by a comic book artist/ illustrator.

A truly magnificent page. Of course, I love the fourth panel (I'm tempted to add "Who wouldn't?" but there must be somebody), but the whole frenetic pace of the page (and the dialogue), is a wonder to behold. (Also, I love that the head satanist reminds me of Victor Buono).

As you note, that close-up is incredible for its raw, bestial snarl. Really nice page.
