I�m not sure how to describe this other than OTHERWORLDLY. In fact Nir does such a great job of referencing history that he�s probably the most renaissance inspired artist alive today! What�s cool about this is the fact that I wanted to bid on his Gladiator Batman/Joker piece he did for OAX 2025 Badges but I had to leave the auction early to help Steve set up for the Magic The Gathering night. So to pick this up the next day, it was the perfect medieval replacement. Furthermore, Nir had no idea it was for me, so he was blown away when he found out because he had previously done a medieval version of the Joker in my Joker Sketchbook! What were the chances!!!

Nir's take is always so unique and this is a perfect example! Love the contrast here, but it's the detail that always gets you. He truly has a mind like no other. Nice one, Carl!
