Robert Crumb - Kafka for Beginners -page 42-43

Bravo!

Required reading for AP English.  I would have liked to have seen someone do a book report on Crumb's version.  I like the self conscious journalistic approach with the photos and captions arranged like newspaper clippings. 

Kafkaesque and Crumbalicious! What a great sequence, congrats!

One of the silliest stories ever written but has a message when you read what happens to the poor guy. Never rely on your family if you get ill or are no longer economically viable and they are ungrateful for all the work you did before becoming an annoying pest. Story explained! Onto the art. Crumbs great. Weird as hell but great.

Definitely two of the strongest pages in Crumb's Kafka!
