Description

I have a soft spot for Batman Beyond. I’ve always felt like it was a “Spider-Man” version of Batman. On top of that, I’ve always wanted a #BATOBER piece from Chris Samnee so I’m happy I got this from his auction. It’s a well done piece right? Old man Bruce finding Terry at the grounds of Wayne Manor.

I approve more comic art with dogs, one thing that's lacking in Star Wars which makes up for it with astromechs as trusty companion who always save the day. Congrats on a great Bat piece!

One of the rare times in Samnee's Batober where he does Batman Beyond. Love the camera angle and the stark contrasts. The texture on Ace's face and the look on Bruce's face is theater acting at its finest.

Absolutely stunning drawing by the incredible Chris Samnee! I'm a huge fan of Chris' work but i've found it extremely hard to pick up any of his published art. This Batober piece is a fine substiture, though. Love the way Chris uses large patches of black and white to achieve a dramatic look to the art. His style is all about creating contrasts between the two and he does it better than just about anyone. Love the way the trees frame the panel, the branches leaving shadows on Bruce's jacket. This is one of the finest Chris Samnee drawings I've seen on CAF. Fantastic pick-up, congrats!
