A few years after WOWing us with New Frontier, Darwyn returned to draw Hal in the Green Lantern Secret Files one shot.

This time around he teamed with Geoff Johns to revisit Hal's connection to his dad and how it shaped his love of flying. It was a phenomenal pairing that allowed Johns to spiritually connect his Secret Origin arc with New Frontier, while telling a sweet tale across Hal's childhood and key relationships.

This page features Hal racing past his brothers as he skips school to go watch his dad fly at the air field, brought to life by Darwyn's brilliant cartooning.

Please note, the art is on 14x17 art board but Darwyn kept the drawing to the left side of the page in traditional 11x17 size. So, you will need a larger portfolio to store this one.
