17.5x21.5" frame contains double-matted art paper w/extremely detailed lead and colored pencil original art by officially licensed Marvel, Star Wars and Disney artist Robert Bailey, who became known worldwide in the genre for creating oil paintings of military aircraft and air battles. His work was noticed by Star Wars creator George Lucas, who invited Robert to work on Star Wars Visions - which saw 30 artists create their own interpretations of characters and scenes. George bought many of his prints for both himself and the cast and crew members. As a licensed Marvel artist, Bailey has depicted iconic Spider-Man and Avengers scenes. Collectors of his artwork include Harrison Ford, John Travolta, Tom Cruise and the late Carrie Fisher. Offered here is art depicting an image from "Spider-Man" with Tobey Maguire portrait and the Satue of Liberty in the background. Image area measures 9x13". Bailey's pencil work captures an almost photo-realistic quality, making one feel as is they are watching the actual film scene. Hand-lettered "Spider-Man And The Statue Of Liberty" title below w/"Officially Licensed Marvel Artist" stamp and additional stamp "Officially Licensed Star Wars And Disney Artist" both w/Bailey's name and Bailey has signed in pencil at left.
