Description
Nick gets whacked! ….or does he?

Pretty jazzed to get a page from one of my favorite series of the silver age.

Very cool Nick Fury page. I love this storyline where Nick Fury is shot down by multiple assassins, only to reveal that it wasn't Fury at all, but some kind of holographic projection meant to confuse potential assassins. Nicely drawn panel page by the great Frank Springer with inks by John Tartaglione. Love that middle panel with multiple guns and a laser beam all firing siimultaneously to make sure that they don't miss. The bottom left hand panel of Fury's legs just laying there must be a bit disconcerting to Nick Fury. Great pick-up, congrats!

Lol!  The laser was probably a bit overkill.
