I honestly have no idea who Tom Fowler is, but my goodness this is nice! Wow!
He did not phone this one in! Full of art and detail.
It's a bit too busy for me, but that aside, this is INCREDIBLE. The figures are alive, with all the energy and live that an animator brings to the art. All the figures look great, but Warlock is particularly outstanding!
I'll concede that it's maximalist, but that's what I love about it. There's nothing I'd remove from it, and a flying monkey scene should be crazy!
And I agree about Warlock - too few artists utilize his metamorph powers like they should.
