Description
Jose Louis Garcia-Lopez did some of his best work on Atari Force, harkening back to his Alex Raymond roots. Early on, he was really complemented by Ricardo Villagran's Raymondesque inking. Bob Smith was a very capable alternative in the later issues, such as this splash from number 9.

Garcia-Lopez captures the zeitgeist of the early 80's while still drawing classic illustration adventure.  The video game and computer age were upon us and the modern cyber aesthetic meshed with the classical decor and old school character design.
