A great and inspiring subplot that still had the neo noir style of cinematic storytelling of Cowan and Magyar!
This page really showcases the magic of Denys Cowan’s artwork and Rick Magyar’s inks. There’s a raw intensity in the way the characters interact. The pacing and composition are perfect for this moment, and you can feel the quiet tension of their conversation. Also interesting to see that the familiar scratchiness is not yet apparent in the art, as we would see a bit later on.
