Often overlooked because it was after Wrightson, but Redondo's art is just as complex in illustration for the dark tone of the storylines.

Redondo’s work on Swamp Thing was every bit as masterful as Wrightson’s, even if it hasn’t received the same level of recognition. This page is a perfect example of his incredible draftsmanship. His lush, detailed linework and expressive characters bring just as much atmosphere and weight to the series as Wrightson’s legendary run. The tension in this scene is palpable, with Redondo’s storytelling pulling you right into the action. It’s a shame his contributions haven’t been celebrated as widely, but pages like this make it clear that his Swamp Thing work deserves a hell of a lot more praise.
