DescriptionShe may be a She-Devil with a Sword, but I LOVE this page from Red Sonja's very first solo issue highlighting her tender and sensual aspects. Thorne truly delvers in each panel filling them full of mystery, beauty, and adventure. Bonus points for the wonderful dialog by Roy.Happy to have this one, even though it's not in my typical wheelhouse. Social/Sharing |

Don't take the horse for granted; many artists don't practice them enough to do them well.

If you are going to lie down with a horse then you can expect your sensual parts to be tender.

Just a simple page of a gal and her pet enjoying the simple pleasures of nature. These are character defining moments by Thorne that show what our heroine fights for.

The softer side of Sonja. I totally get it. There's something very moving about her interaction with this mythical creature. Great page!

Are you the horse or am I the horse in this situation?

Gorgeous 1st issue page! Thorne had such a unique way of capturing her strength and allure, and this page really showcases that softer, more mysterious side of her. His delicate linework and solid storytelling make every panel feel alive with atmosphere. Definitely a gem, and a great addition to your collection, even if it IS outside your usual focus!
