Big thanks to Gerard for letting me add this page to my collection. Sal is my favorite Hulk artist and I particularly love his early work on the series so very happy to get this one. Hulk vs other world barbarian!

Those Chan inks give the Sal Buscema pencils a sword and sorcery feel with the wizard mastermind behind the muscle beating on the Hulk. The Hulk face taking shots like that makes every blow that much more heavy.

Nice page! This was back when they were reprinting the Dr. Druid stories in Weird Wonder Tales and I think they were trying to promote the character with these guest appearances. I always liked the Buscema/Chan team and felt that their different styles really complimented each other.

Great page from a great issue! So dynamic, and such lovely inks. The tension over the fight brings it all back.
