Description
I had given Matt I believe $75 to do a Catwoman commission at the show with the understanding I'd come by near closing time to pick the drawing BUT when it came time for me to do so, Matt was gone as well as my money. I'd mentioned it to him in 2018 thru Facebook which he remembered and yet here I am 20 years later with no drawing.

Shaun, I'm the FIRST person to voice my disgust at so much of the shoddy treatment of commission collectors by artists, but I'm also on the side of the truth and the truth is that the time to remind him was right after the show, not 13 years later. He's been easily reachable on Facebook for many years, so you could've and should've kept on him that way until he produced and sent you your commission. Shit, even now, 20 years later, I STILL say you should push him until he send you the commission.

In other news, that looks like Cary Nord to Haley's left.

I did ask the convention promoter to put me in touch with the artist that sat at the table because I couldn't remember the artists name. He wasn't anyone I followed but was impressed with the drawings he had displayed. I didn't know who it was until I showed someone on Facebook and that's when I reached out to him and got the promise of a drawing again thru messenger but never followed thru. I mistakenly thought it was Bruce Tim so I'm glad I asked other collectors before telling my story.

Oh! So you mean to you, this was just an unknown artist you'd never heard of before, so you therefore couldn't recall his name after it happened? That is wild! And yes, good thing you didn't start publicly blasting Bruce Timm!
