Paul Reinman Letter with Marvel Comics Return Address - 1964

Paul Reinman (1910-1988) was a journeyman comic book artist, starting during the Golden Age with MLJ Comics. Reinman might be best known for his work at Marvel, specifically inking Jack Kirby. I’m pleased to offer a 1964 handwritten letter from Reinman, writing to a fan and talking about his career a bit. Interestingly, he writes mostly about “Merrie Chase”, a comic he did that ran from 1949 to 1950. It’s an interesting insight about Reinman’s career. You’ll also note the return address that Reinman wrote at the top: the Marvel Comics offices. While not artwork, this is still pretty cool.
