I had picked up a coverless Master Comics with Raboy's Cap. Marvel Jr. at the Chicago con where I got my Black Bolt Vs. Klaw sketch and I noticed Steve looking at it a bit while he was finishing up the sketch. It occurred that he would a good version of CMJ so when he came to an area con a few years later I made some color copies of the stories in Master #21 & 22. (I had long ago sold the books but had made copies of the lead stories before doing so. & #21 doesn't feature CMJ but the art is great.) Steve thought the character woud be well suited to a color sketch but didn't bring his markers. Well, when I went home I just dug out my markers and colored pencils. Steve borrowed them all day Sunday to do sketches for other congoers.
