Description"the Creature from the Black Lagoon" was the last great monster from Universal.....and just like dinosaur movies/Toys/Books.....struck a cord in every kid growimg up in the 50's & 60's.Kids could relate to his being misunderstood, and in a strange way to his being the last of his kind......we all know our childhood won't last, and we'll become adults .Social/Sharing |

One of My All-Time Favorite Monsters! This is nice departure from the female pin-up's. Can't wait to see the details in the inks!

Awesome pose of one of my favorite monsters! I've got a version Dave Cockrum did of the box art for the model in my 'Comic Art from the Masters' gallery. He chose a similar action shot, but yours is even more dynamic!
