Phoenix 1 pg 13 Mini Series Rick Leonardi

With CAF live set up under way… I thought it was a great time to post a couple beauties I picked up in the last Caf live. Consecutive pages from an unpublished Phoenix mini series from the 80s . I’ve done some digging and apparently there were two attempts at a Phoenix (Rachel) mini that were both drawn by Rick Leonardi .. and never published for various reasons (the one I’ve heard the most is that marvel was worried how the relationship between Rachel and Franklin Richard from power pack would be looked at .. as they were together in her timeline but now vastly different in age. ) but who knows! What I do know is how often do you get to see pure vintage leonardi pencils! Would have loved to see the book published . But happy to have some pages!
