Description
Continuing with more art from my Original Comic Art Unboxing with Ruben DaCollector.

Another double page title splash this time from Tarzan.

From the one and only José Luis García-López. Not much into Tarzan but couldn't pass up the Garcia-Lopez pencils on a two page title splash. They are so good. Just look at the flow. Great piece of storytelling. Beautiful splash by Mr. Garcia-Lopez.

I don't know much about Rudy Florese, but what I found was he was a filipino artist with a long history in comics both Filipino and US comics.

An adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan the Untamed.

Tarzan #251 pgs 2-3 "Tarzan The Untamed Part 2: Jungle War" by artist José Luis García-López and Rudy Florese on two 11X17 boards. 1976

99% hand drawn. The only stat is a small strip over Tatjana Wood and Eric S Jordan.

great JLGL work on this DPS title page/s. the title credits look to be hand drawn as well? at least the top part but I'm not entirely sure if i'm missing stats when looking at this image

So great to examine this one up close, Ceasar. A José Luis García-López Tarzan double page title & credits splash is so nice to own, especially as the title and credits are also hand drawn. I really like the Florese inks, too, clearly from the Rudy Nebres school of rendering!

A rarity of the double page spread that was being used more in the 70's.  JLGL's figure work on full display as a no costume Tarzan shows off the pure human form in action.

Oof…He's gonna feel THAT one in the morning...A super dynamic Tarzan title DPS!  I always like a DPS with some action panels plus a really big splashy image.  Lotta bang for your buck.  Congrats!

Great stuff from a García-López Tarzan DPS, love that flow and Tarzan's silent reaction, congrats!
