Dampyr #172 (2014) pages 75-76: Fleeing the scene

Having tasted Harlan's super-bullets, Olimpia has no interest in sticking around for a confrontation. Sergio hustles her out of harm’s way:

“Let's get out of here! Rocco, Orazio, cover us!”

“You have to kill him! Kill the Dampyr!”

“Go! Hurry!”

“We need to stop her from getting in there! The door is armored.”

“I'm doing my best!”

“Close the door, Orazio! Quick!”

“Aahh!” (Kurjak shoots Orazio in the chest.)

“Come on!”

“Help me open it! But wha…?”

“Oh, crap! In his hand...” (grenades)

“You know something, friends? In Rome they say: nun se buggera er cantaro… ‘There’s no fooling the clever one.’” (Rocco tosses the grenades at Harlan and Kurjak.)

I am not sure what language Rocco is using there. It's not Italian or Latin. It may be the Roman blue collar dialect known as Romanesco, which was mentioned earlier in the story. Hence the "In Rome they say..."
