Description
Wolverine 93 was one of the most memorable issues from Adam Kuberts run on the title in the 90s… they were in the midst of the onslaught storyline.. and the book had a very homage feeling to a memorable uncanny X-men issue. 183.. Wolverine was “educating “ a young xman at the bar.. and they have a run in with juggs there! Kubert was really coming into his own at the time… and outside of the splash page that will be buried with my friend James.. I’m not sure there is a page from the book I would want more! Cannonball drunkenly attacking Juggs Juggs, and being swatted away like a bug… big splashy image of Juggernaut behind the bar… even without Wolverine on the page it’s perfect to me! When a good friend let me know he was letting it go.. I didn’t hesitate much at all! And I’m happy to have it! Thanks Rob! And now to find out which inker it was…. Doesn’t look like green to me but research to be done lol

They just back from AOA and Wolvie still had to deal with what drove him to kill Sabertooth right before AOA wiped it out and put things back to normal.  Maybe Adam Kubert's finest run on the title.  If it's not Dan Green, it's Matt Ryan on inks.  Cannonball's ricochet off Juggernaut is another defining moment to make Juggernaut a big threat to Wolvie.

What is your opinion on the inker?

Both Green and Ryan are listed.  Look at the issue before that was all Dan Green and compare.  The telling signs are how the thin lines are used for Cannonball and how much detail is put into the backgrounds.  You can always reach out to Matt Ryan on FB.

Poor Sam never seemed to find his footing in the X-men during this run. Great page!

This was a good issue.  Congrats on the page.  It's awesome and your clear fondness for it is even better.  I'm glad you were able to get it.

Sweet page from a classic issue.  Love the 2 zoomed in eye shots sandwiching the full figure mini splash.  Congrats!
