Description
From the halcyon days of the fabled Claremont/Byrne/Austin X-men run comes this excellent 3 page sequence from Uncanny X-men 115 (1978). I had an X-men subscription and I can still remember getting this comic in the mail and marvelling at the story and the art for days on end. I loved the story line with Magneto and the Savage Land from X-men 111-116. I'd venture to say those issues have always been my favorite X-men story. I even once drew a panel from one of these pages with Sauron for art class as a kid (I still have the sketchbook)!

Beautiful. I don't want to know what it took to get these three as I have page 30 from 114 and that hurt a lot just on it's lonesome. These pages are truly wonderful and should be treasured. Thanks for sharing. Cheers John

Ive spent years looking up from my drawing board for inspiration at these pages hanging on my wall. It lkilled me when I sold them to Paul but Im glad they found a good home. I hope you get as much enjoyment out of them as Ive had, Tom. Congrats!!

One (I mean 3!) of the best examples why Byrne ruled the comics galaxy when he was at its best. Congats on this fabulous sequence !

"Everybody against Wolverine" is a fight concept that has been oft imitated, but never quite duplicated as skillfully or thoughtfully as it was introduced here. You have the first one bub, and that's a real nice sliver of one of my all-time favorite sequences in all of comics ever. Thanks for sharing and congratulations!

I am scratching what is left of the hair on my head for not commenting on this stunning three-page sequence. Having seen it in person in the past year at Richard's shop makes it all the more memorable. It should have more than 22 comments.
