DescriptionVery excited to take delivery of this wonderful page featuring two of my favorite cosmic Marvel characters from the epic Infinity Gauntlet story. It's my first vintage page, as well as my first 'twice up' page (which is impressive in person compared to modern OA). This page came up at auction when I first started collecting art and I had some sticker shock when it sold for (I believe) around $4k. Fast forward to 2025 and it came up again, but this time I was ready. When it arrived, I was amused by something written on the back which is likely the original selling price of the page, $90. Feels great to be its custodian!Social/Sharing |

Great piece with Warlock showing the Surfer the devastation caused by Thanos and why he must be stopped. Lim designed the close up of the Silver Surfer at the top and the Thanos one at the bottom to bookend the page.

Always loved space backgrounds and that along with nice representations of Him and Surfer, not to mention the Emperor Palpatine (aka Galactus) down at the bottom - make this a beautiful pick up!
